Meet the Team!
Dr. Bettie Bruce, PT, DPT, CDNS
Bettie is a client-centered physical therapist who believes in a holistic approach to treatment in order to identify underlying causes of injury rather than pain control alone.
She believes in building a strong partnership with her clients that empowers them to reach their highest potential through greater awareness of how they move, providing tools to refine movements, and improve performance. She has advanced training in manual therapy, blood flow restriction and is a certified dry needling specialist.
CoreMovement Physical Therapy was founded in Spring 2023 after relocating to the Philadelphia area.
Prior to starting CoreMovement Physical Therapy, she spent seven years working as a licensed PT in Washington, D.C. and the last four years at a boutique physical therapy practice recognized for their expertise which was voted “Best of DC” four years running for physical therapy.
She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2016 and earned a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Syracuse University. Bettie resides on the Main Line with her husband, daughter, and their dog Banks.
